I'm with North Bank, sack them, but what really pisses me off is the honour lists. Some rich turd gives £100k to any political party and hey presto he gets a gong, or Tarquin who has worked in the home office for 30 years gets an OBE, but to keep he riff raff happy a lollipop lady gets the lowest of the low award.

Let's do away with the Queen as our head of state, the fucking malingering scrounging old hag and let's get with the modern world and promote our PM as head of state, yeah Theresa May or Jezza Corbyn would be ideal and respected around the whole globe
Alternatively we could vote for a President and get Blair in, he's adored throughout Europe and despite the odd global massacre he signed off, pretty sure our stock would go up
Then again why not get someone like Edie Izzard as President or that awfully popular Mayor of Sheffield that frowns at British culture

How much value we get out of the royal family is debatable but I just found out they own the sea bed.around the UK. The plankton is theirs.

Yeah people around the world come to look at the crown jewels and buck house and all that shit, yeah it brings in a lot of wedge but they could still do that if we had a monarchy or not. To attribute that cash to the existence of our current bunch of malingerers is fucking absurd. People like the history not the current bunch of inbreds. So no they don't bring in billions.

The Royals bring in £BILLIONS every year in tourism alone, so £365m to repair a roof is chicken feed.
We dont just have any Queen, we have THE Queen. I know there are dozens of Royal families in the world, but to 99% of the world, when you say the Queen, people think you're referring to Elizabeth II.
The Royal family are a large part of what makes us British (yes, I know the German context of that as well).

Saw a photo of it on the Mail website. As well as her carpet and general decor. Hideous. And I speak as a divvy who loves 1970s decorative kitsch such as string pictures and leather pouffes.
But it isn't as if she can tell her footmen to put down some pine coloured laminate and tosh the walls with Dulux Magnolia, and get some of those wooden box frames with gerberas in them, is it? It's a historic, royal palace. It has to stay preserved in aspic for the main part. She lives there, but she can't do what she wants to the place.
